Important:
- appropriate precautions must be taken if the device may strike sharp objects or edges;
- the anchor point must comply with the EN 795 standard and always be in a suitable place above the harness attachment point;
- this device must always be switched on to reduce the risk of failure.
Compliance:
This device is intended for use with:
- connectors complying with the EN 362, EN 12275 standards;
- harnesses complying with the EN 361, EN 813, EN 12277, EN 1497, EN 1498 standards;
- energy absorbers complying with the EN 355 standard.
Warning:
- total length of the entire system (incl. with this device, energy) absorber and connectors) must not be longer than 2 m (Fig.);
- do not connect more than one user to more than one energy absorber (Fig.);
- the device is suitable for connecting only one user (Fig.);
- using this device with a loop can reduce the strength by up to 60% (Fig.);
- special conditions (e.g. heat, cold, moisture, oil, dust) reduce the efficiency of the device;
- the potential fall height must always be less than 0.5 m, unless the user is equipped with appropriate devices (e.g. energy absorbers)

the technical condition and correct operation should be checked as follows:
- whether the device is suitable for the intended use;

- whether there are no signs of UV radiation, in particular, check the areas in contact with metal elements;
- whether the seams are intact and there are no cut or loose threads;
- whether all markings, including labels, are legible, and the expiration date has not expired.

Warranty and product life cycle
The indications regarding the device's service life are determined by KONG S.p.A. in accordance with the requirements of EU Regulation 2016/425. The service life is determined by the type of materials, the construction of the device and its intended use.
The following conditions significantly shorten the service life of the device:
- improper use, intensive use or use in an aggressive environment (salty, extreme temperatures, contact with chemicals)
- storage in conditions other than those specified in the manufacturer's information
- reduced or no maintenance
Use: 2 years of proper storage before use + 10 years from the date of first use (i.e. maximum 12 years from the date of production)
Warranty: 3 years (does not apply to the elasticity of the elastic band)
