Aluminium carabiner for harnesses.
The ROCKET is a light aluminium carabiner for narrow paragliding harnesses. Equipped with the Slide Autolock gate it is easy-to-use, yet very safe. Being THE lightweight amongst all AUSTRIALPIN paragliding carabiners, the ROCKET is a must-have for hike`n`fly, run`n`fly, climb`n`fly and ski`n`fly enthusiasts.
The carabiner’s gate has been designed to minimize gate play when closed. This minimizes the negative effects of constant vibration stress on the carabiner. The Slide Autolock allows for reliable locking without lock manipulation, yet it can be opened easily by just pressing the slider.
The ROCKET may only be used for solo flights. The corresponding marking on the carabiner is the abbreveation “mono”. Due to its shape, the ROCKET carabiner is designed only for the use of leashes and webbings with a maximum width of 14 mm for the upper carabiner side and 20 mm webbings for the lower, more narrow side.
AustriAlpin carabiners are made entirely in Austria - these are the highest quality solutions and materials, as well as guaranteed durability and longevity. All carabiners are tested during production.

Rules for caring for the carabiner:
Clean muddy/dirty carabiners with clean water, a washcloth and/or a soft brush.
Air Dry - Never dry on a strong heat source.
Every gear component where metal rubs against metal needs lubrication to keep it running smoothly. For carabiners, dry lubricant should be used instead of oil as commercially available oil will cause dust and dirt to build up. Grease should be applied to all holes when the carabiner is in both open and closed positions. Especially important: After use near or in the sea (where there is a high concentration of salt in the air and water), clean the carabiner immediately to avoid salt damage to the metal of the carabiner.
