The PIRUM is especially designed for applications where more space is needed, for example as a central carabiner or when working with ropes with thicker diameters. Thanks to its anatomically formed shape, the carabiner lies naturally in your hand and convinces with an excellent strength rating of 30 kN. With a wide gate clearance, this carabiner reduces the risk of getting your fingers caught while clipping.
Special feature of the PIRUM ID 3-way autolock is its unique identification number [ID].

Rules for caring for the carabiner:
Clean muddy/dirty carabiners with clean water, a washcloth and/or a soft brush.
Air Dry - Never dry on a strong heat source.
Every gear component where metal rubs against metal needs lubrication to keep it running smoothly. For carabiners, dry lubricant should be used instead of oil as commercially available oil will cause dust and dirt to build up. Grease should be applied to all holes when the carabiner is in both open and closed positions. Especially important: After use near or in the sea (where there is a high concentration of salt in the air and water), clean the carabiner immediately to avoid salt damage to the metal of the carabiner.
