Kong OVALONE Black with RISE lock™ carabiner from aluminium with wide opening
Product code: 712LE0NPNKK
Symetric oval carbon steel carabiner with two-way automatic RISE lock™.
The uniqueness of this lock is that the tube can be turned only by holding it with two fingers or a hand on both sides. Holding it on one side and trying to turn the lock will not work. It also protects against accidental turning of the lock by elements or rope.
Kong carabiners are made entirely in Italy - these are the highest quality solutions and materials and guaranteed strength and longevity. All carabiners are tested during production.

Innovative approach:
RISE™ (RIght SEquence) is an innovative automatic locking system patented by Kong, which provides the convenience of opening and closing in 2 movements, significantly reducing the risk of accidental opening. Its operation is as simple as it is effective: to open it, you need to perform two movements of rotating the sleeve with two fingers and opening the lock - in this "correct order". This means that if you press the lock first, the sleeve will not rotate and therefore the carabiner will remain locked. This protects the carabiner from accidental opening caused by the rope getting tangled or the carabiner lock being pressed against the edge - a problem that affects other carabiners with a 2-motion lock.
Carabiner care instructions:
Clean muddy/dirty carabiners with clean water, a washcloth and/or a soft brush.
Air dry - Never dry near a strong heat source.
Any transmission component where metal rubs against metal requires lubrication to operate smoothly. Dry lubricant should be used instead of oil for carabiners, as commercial oil will cause dust and dirt to collect. Lubricant should be applied to all holes when the carabiner is in both the open and closed positions. Particularly important: After use near the sea or in the sea (where there is a high concentration of salt in the air and water), clean the carabiner immediately to avoid damaging the metal of the carabiner with salt.
