Stainless steel carabiner for 25mm webbing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The stainless-steel version of the STRATUS carabiner for 25 mm paragliding harnesses provides a maximum of reliability. It is equipped with the special Slide Autolock gate and the so-called Keeper to prevent the carrying strap from slipping out of its position. Due to its very high breaking strength, it is the ideal partner for Acro pilots ensuring a maximum of safety when it comes to a maximum load during Maneuver flights and other extreme situations.<\/p>\n

The carabiner\u2019s gate has been designed to minimize gate play when closed. This minimizes the negative effects of constant vibration stress on the carabiner. The Slide Autolock allows for reliable locking without lock manipulation, yet it can be opened easily by just pressing the slider.<\/p>\n

Due to the higher breaking strength of stainless-steel carabiners compared to aluminum carabiners, AUSTRIALPIN generally recommends using only stainless-steel carabiners for tandem flights. The corresponding marking on the carabiner is the abbreviation “mono+bi”.<\/p>\n

The STRATUS carabiner is designed for the use of 25 mm webbings only!<\/p>\n

Clean muddy\/dirty carabiners with clean water, a washcloth and\/or a soft brush.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Air Dry – Never dry on a strong heat source.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Every gear component where metal rubs against metal needs lubrication to keep it running smoothly.<\/span><\/span> For carabiners, dry lubricant should be used instead of oil as commercially available oil will cause dust and dirt to build up.<\/span><\/span> Grease should be applied to all holes when the carabiner is in both open and closed positions.<\/span><\/span> Especially important: After use near or in the sea (where there is a high concentration of salt in the air and water), clean the carabiner immediately to avoid salt damage to the metal of the carabiner.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
